We match our home care companions to your loved ones needs to ensure your satisfaction. Our Care Companions go beyond basic safety and comfort care, they are there to offer engaging activity and make meaningful differences in the lives of their clients.

Each home care companion is insured and is able to transport clients on outings or to appointments. Prior to beginning work for Silverado, all care companions must pass a thorough criminal background check and a physical.

All of our Silverado At Home care companions spend at least a full day in our Silverado assisted living communities interacting with a diverse range of individuals with memory care needs including those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. This experience allows us to see our care companions in action before sending them out into a home setting. It is the most important part of our training to ensure that we have the best care companions in the industry.

Reliability is always a question in the “home care” industry. Silverado is able to provide great reliability because of our large caregiver pools and affiliation with our assisted living communities. This allows for many back-up plan options if a care companion becomes ill, once again, giving you peace of mind.

Care companions are available for daily or hourly assignments.
