Our family wanted to make it possible for my 88-year old mother to stay in her own home. However, as her Dementia began to progress, we were concerned for her personal safety. During the process of exploring assisted living as an option, we discovered Silverado also offered Home Care services. After an assessment, our Geriatric Care Manager started us with 2 day a week care to supplement our family care of Mother. Recently, we went to full time care. At some point, we anticipate the best available alternative will be to transition Mother into assisted living. Donna, our Care Manager, is always there gently guiding us through difficult decisions, as well as assisting and educating us through the many phases of Dementia. The smile on my Mother's face assures us we are making the right choices.

When my family and I made the decision to have my parents come to live with my husband and I, we knew that a big part of increasing their quality of life and taking care of their health needs was to have the right caregivers. A very good friend recommended Silverado At Home, and from the start Donna was ready to provide informationto help us make the right decisions.

My parents have been blessed by the skill level and the amazing tenderness of the Silverado caregivers, Andrea and Sharon. The expertise from the entire Silverado staff gives my family peace of mind that we have the best of the best. We have seen my Mom's health dramatically improve. My Dad's health is very fragile and the level of care he receives is very gentle and loving.
It's not easy to see your parents at this stage in life. The caregivers not only take care of them but they are helping to manage the ups and downs of the family as we process our own emotions. The approach is holistic and it works. To have someone to walk along side the family and to be there any time we have questions or just need to talk is a valuable benefit.
My family says thank you!
